This mug has impressed me so much I've just ordered more! I like everything about it; the weight is not too heavy for me when I fill the mug; I have an average size woman's hand and three fingers fit comfortably in the handle which makes a balanced feeling; the ceramic material is thick enough that it holds heat in the cup for a good long time. This mug is approximately 4 1/2 inches high and will comfortably hold 12 ounces of liquid. I find myself hand washing this mug every day instead of putting it in the dishwasher so I finally broke down and ordered more. Now hubby and I can skip the dirty looks when the first one downstairs in the morning gets the mug the other one wanted!
